Camp Life
Experienced players and coaches make up the staff of counselors and instructors at the Big League Experience Baseball Camp. They give each camper individual attention, outstanding mentorship and skills training. The camp atmosphere is fun, spirited and professional. Players are developed through positive reinforcement and rewarding, enjoyable experiences in the spirit of competition.
Objectives:

Each day of the camp is broken out into sessions of Instruction, Game Time and Supervised Recreation. Instruction includes drills, positional work, chalk talk and video analysis. Each afternoon the players compete in throwing, running, hitting, bunting and fielding segments. Teams compete throughout the week in games, and also earn points for good sportsmanship and behavior culminating in an awards ceremony at the end of the camp. All players leave with individual written evaluations from their instructors.
Heart of the Okanagan
The Big League Experience Baseball Camp is located in Oliver, B.C., the heart
of the sunny Okanagan Valley. The area is surrounded by lakes, mountains, orchards, vineyards,
and golf courses, and offers many other outdoor activities for families to enjoy during their stay.
The climate, dry and hot, is ideal for baseball camps and tournaments as well as vacationing.
Facilities - Oliver, BC
Camp staff and the Oliver community work together to maintain the best fields and facilities in the
Pacific Northwest. The camp facilities include three 90' and four 60' baseball diamonds maintained to such
exceptional standards that they are used by B.C.'s top programs; the Provincial Canada Games Team and the 17
and under Selects program. The players are housed in the Oliver Arena building adjacent to the baseball diamonds
and the community swimming pool. Players are served nutritious and plentiful meals by a certified chef, and a snack
bar is available. Players can also purchase baseball attire from the camp.
McArthur Island Ball Complex - Kamloops, B.C.
Located on the north bank of the Thompson River, McArthur Island is the new home of the MIZUNO Future's Invitation Camp and the MIZUNO Showcase camp.. The 51 ha. (126 ac.) island is lavishly equipped with a variety of playing fields, golf course, indoor sports centre, bicycle paths, parks and picnic land, lagoon, wild flora and fauna reserve, marmots, BMX track, walking trails and so much more.
McArthur Island Youth Centre:
With a seating capacity from 100 - 444, this facility includes computer access, a full-size gymnasium, 2 kitchens, craft room, wood shop, games/lounge room and teen room. The playing fields, tennis courts and natural setting of the island lends to the diversity of programs offered at the Club. This facility will be used as the base for the BLE MIZUNO campers.
Norbrock Stadium:
Norbrock was built as a 1967 Canada Centennial project. In 2005 Norbrock Stadium received a 2.2 Million dollar facelift adding new dugouts, change rooms, washrooms and seating for 1500 spectators. Norbrock is home to Thompson Rivers Univesity Wolf Pack and Kamloop's Sundevils baseball clubs. The arena comes alive every late March for the KR3 Best of the West Invitational 18U Tournament which kicks off the tournament season in Kamloops, the "Tournament Capitol of Canada."
Canada Games Ball Field:
The Canada Games Ball Field is a legacy from 1993 when Kamloops hosted this national event and features an 80 ft, diamond.
