ELITE PLAYER TUNE UP CAMP SUCCESS

The 2009 Elite Player Tune Up Camp gave players the opportunity to prepare for post season tryouts and championships as well as a last chance at qualifying for the 2009 PNC team managed by Baseball B.C. Attending players had the opportunity to work with special guest coaches like former MLB players, Chris Pritchett and Ray Chadwick along with Don Archer (MLB Scout) and Head Coach Marty Lehn. In the end, the BLE staff identified 7 players for possible PNC team selection of which the following players were selected:
- 2010 Team - Jordan Wolfe (including special invite to BC Selects Camp)
- 2011 Team - Dustin Dhanani
- 2012 Team - Adam Shumka
- 2013 Team - Preston Kokotailo and Alexander Bolt
BaseballBC to Use Elite Player Tune Up as Additional PNC Identifier

The BLE Elite Player Tune Up Camp to be held June 29 to July 2nd in Oliver, B.C. will also be an identifier for the 2009 PNC Teams representing B.C. The Elite Player Tune Up camp runs two weeks prior to the Team B.C. Selection camp with a focus on preparation for serious players, ages 14 to 17, planning to tryout for Provincial or District post season teams or preparing for District championships.
The format of the camp will be identical to that used at the B.C. Team Selection Camp using the same fields and facilities. The “Tune Up Camp” will also follow the identifier process used by Baseball BC to select potential PNC candidates. Join Milwaukee Brewers scout and former Olympic coach, Marty Lehn, along with former MLB player, Ray Chadwick (TRU Head Coach) and Don Archer, MLB scout for the L.A. Angels (former Head coach of BCPBL White Rock Tritons) as well as other professional coaches for three intensive days of training and preparation prior to District and Provincial camps.
The camp will include three full days of professional instruction and preparation and cost of the camp, $325 (plus GST) includes lodging and meals. If you are looking for the edge and are serious about preparing for District or Provincials, or a last shot for the PNC team, don’t miss this camp.
