MIZUNO FUTURE'S INAUGURAL CAMP DEEMED SUCCESS
August 08, 2010
The 2010 Big League Experience threw its first pitch of the summer camp season opening the Mizuno Future's Camp. Owner Marty Lehn comments, "This was the inaugural year for this camp and both the BLE and Mizuno are pleased with the outcome. The MIZUNO Future's Invitational Camp is designed for committed 14 and 15 year old players throughout Canada with the idea of getting them together and helping them take their game to the next level. Mizuno has made a three year commitment for the Future's Camp and we really feel that the format and concept will have an impact in the future for these players."
"For year one, the response for the camp was great, especially from the West. We plan to keep working with Mizuno to continue giving players of this age and caliber the opportunity to improve and showcase their skills with other players from throughout Canada."
Campers spent the week in teams working on individual and positional training and finished the week, participating in the KR3 Can Am Future's Classic tournament under the Team Mizuno banner.
