BLE Partners with Kamloops

The Big League Experience is excited to announce that it will partner with Kamloops, "Canada's Tournament Capitol" for two of its MIZUNO Specialty Camps and six KR3 Tournaments in 2011.

BLE owner Marty Lehn, commented "The BLE has been working with Kamloops for many years hosting the KR3 Best of the West tournament every spring and the city of Kamloops has worked very hard to grow our partnership. With the growth of the BLE Mizuno Specialty Camps we felt it was important to take advantage of the first class facilities at the MacArthur Island Ball Complex which includes a fully lit stadium. We believe it all adds up to a successful camp and tournament experience for our BLE guests.

The 2011 calendar will include stops in Kamloops, B.C. for the following:

• KR3 Best of the West 18U Invitational Tournament - March 31 to April 3
• KR3 Best of the West Bantam Invitational Tournament - March 31 to April 3
• KR3 Can Am 14U Classic Tournament - June 24 to 26
• KR3 Can Am Bantam Classic Tournament - June 24 to 26
• MIZUNO FUTURE'S Invitational Camp - August 22 to 28
• KR3 Future's 14U Invitational Tournament - August 26 to 28
• MIZUNO SHOWCASE Camp - August 29 to Sept. 4
• KR3 Showcase 17U Invitational Tournament - Sept. 2 to 4

2010 MIZUNO YOUNG GUN'S CAMP "SOLD OUT"

The Big League Experience announces that the 2010 MIZUNO Young Gun's Camp is now sold out. Camp Director, Marty Lehn comments, "We are of course pleased that the Mizuno Young Gun's Camp is in a sold out position in it's inaugural year, though disappointed that there are many players out there who will miss having the chance to participate. The new camp formula of four days of instructional camp followed by 3 days of tournament play has created a lot of interest in the camp. Include the fact that Mizuno is headlining the camp and Team Mizuno will be competing in the 2010 KR3 Can Am Young Gun's Wood Bat Classic all adds up to an awesome week of baseball coming up next week for 88 players, ages 12 and 13.

2010 MIZUNO Showcase CAMP Still Looking for Players

The Big League Experience still has space available for the 2010 MIZUNO Showcase being held in Oliver, BC, August 9 to 14. The MIZUNO SHOWCASE Camp is designed for players born in or prior to '95 who are committed to improving their game and taking it to the next level, ie: college or professional baseball. This camp is focused on elevating elite skills and gives the players the opportunity to highlight their abilities to MLB and college scouts over six days. There are very few camps which offer the unique opportunity of being both coached and exposed to MLB and College scouts over a six day period. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp shirt/hat and instruction will be $600. If you are a player serious about taking your game to the next level, this is your opportunity. Camp will include physical testing and training as well as classroom sessions important to taking you to your baseball goals. STOD STING "3 PEAT" IN 2010 KR3 CAN AM PROSPECT'S CLASSIC

The championship game began as a pitchers dual, but with one crack of the bat all that changed as the Sting scored six runs in the 6th inning on a Trevor Dubois grand slam. The Sting beat the North Delta Blue Jays 8-3 behind a solid pitching outing from Ian Davidson and a save from Connor McKeever.

This is a "threepeat" from the Sting winning the tournament as 14, 15, and now 16 year olds. The Sting won the tournament with a combined score of 56-7 including 5 home runs.

MIZUNO Future's Camp Steps Up Search

BLE coaches, counselors and selected coaches and instructors across Canada have started their search for "Tomorrow's Stars". Kicking off the 2010 BLE camp season will be the MIZUNO Futures Invitational Camp, designed for dedicated players from across Canada, born in 96 and 95 (only.) Player profiles may be submitted to the BLE by players associations/teams and or coaches/parents and will be reviewed and selected by BLE staff.

A maximum of 48 players will form four teams that will work and train with their team over the first five days of the camp and then represent the BLE as TEAM MIZUNO (on one of four teams) in the KR3 Can Am FUTURES 14U Classic Wood Bat Tournament. Cost of the camp, including lodging, meals, camp hat and shirt, tournament shirt and tournament fees will be $650.

Dates of the camp are June 28 (pm) to July 5. If you are a player born in 1996 or1995 and that thinks you are ready to take your game to the next level on a 90 ft. diamond, send your player profile to mail@bigleagueexperience.com. Profiles will be accepted until May 1st.

Please Note: MIZUNO Future's Invitational Camp and the KR3 Future's Classic Tournament are held on a 90 ft/60.5 ft diamond. It is important that players attending the camp are able to play and perform on a 90 ft field.

DATE CHANGE for 2010 OKANAGAN SUPER CLINIC

The new dates for the 2010 BLE Okanagan Super Clinic to be held in Penticton are March 12 to 14. Head Coach Marty Lehn announced, The previous clinic dates DIRECTLY conflicted with the semi final and gold medal games of the Olympic hockey schedule. By popular demand we are rescheduling the entire Super Clinic to March 12,13 and 14.

In addition, we would like to announce that "FASTBALL" (softball) specific Coachs seminars will be added and offered during the weekend. These will include hitting and pitching seminars specific to fastball.

If you have already registered please confirm with the office that these new dates work for you. If they do not, we will be happy to refund any fee payments you have made for the clinic.

BLE Opening Day Players Clinic UPDATE!

The Big League Experience has finalized the schedule for the Players portion of the 2010 BLE Opening Day Super Clinic. Thank you to those parents and players who have pre-registered with BLE. With registration filling we encourage those who have not pre-registered to do so immediately to guarantee both their spot in the clinic and to help reduce time waiting in lines prior to the event. The registration process is as follows:

For the Players Clinic portion at Opening Day Super Clinic please note the following:

• 10/12 Age group will work in the gym from 9:30 am to Noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Players will be coached by the Professional Guest coaches who are speaking in the Coachs clinic. Sessions will cover hitting, throwing, catching and pitching. Players will have the option of attending any single day for $60 or both days for $100. To register " CLICK HERE!
• 13/15 Age group will work in the gym from 1 pm to 3:30 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. For this age group, training will be more specialized and players will have the opportunity to go into specific areas of interest and focus on specific skill development. In addition to active training with the Guest coaches, players will have the option to participate in Information Sessions pertaining to specific pitching/catching situations, physical development and hitting topics specific to their age group.
