Age Restrictions:
- 18U – Player can turn 19 after April 30, 2010.
- 16U – Player can turn 17 after April 30, 2010.
- 15U – Player can turn 16 after April 30, 2010.
- 14U – Player can turn 15 after April 30, 2010.
- 13U – Player can turn 14 after April 30, 2010.
- 12U – Player can turn 13 after April 30, 2010.
** Please note that Canadian teams may use the International birthdates, using January 1st, 2010 as opposed to April 30th, 2010.
KR3 Can-Am Classic Tournaments
The Big League Experience and tournament sponsor KR3, welcome the 13th year of the KR3 CAN-AM Classic tournaments. The Big League Experience takes great pride in the quality of each tournament, welcoming competitive teams from all over North America. For 2010, for the first time, all tournaments will be Wood/Composite Bat Only! Also in 2010, Team MIZUNO will enter teams with players from across Canada to compete in KR3 Can Am Future’s 14U Classic and the KR3 Can Am Young Gun’s 12U Classic. Throw in the sunny Okanagan climate, mixed in with three well manicured, full sized diamonds and 2 Little League size fields, we have an environment that is second to none for tournaments, camps and family vacations.

2009 CAN-AM CLASSIC TOURNAMENT REVIEW
The Big League Experience once again hosted another great summer of KR3 Can-Am Classic Tournaments in the Okanagan. A total of 90 teams from throughout the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Pacific Northwest participated in these highly competitive tournaments. The sunny Okanagan climate mixed in with 3 well manicured full-sized diamonds and 2 Little League size fields create an environment that is second to none for tournaments, camps and family vacations. KR3 Can Am 16U Wood Bat Classic
Sixteen teams from all over Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest met in Oliver for the 2009 KR3 Can Am 16U Wood Bat Classic. In the final Woodenville Baseball defeated the White Rock Jr. Tritons for the championship. CONGRATULATIONS to Woodenville Baseball Club.
Sting takes 2009 KR3 Can Am Wood Bat Classic
The 2009 KR3 Can Am 15U Wood Bat Classic attracted teams from the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. The final saw Sting Baseball battle Woodenville Baseball with the 15U Sting beating Woodinville 6-5 to win the championship. The Sting offense was fueled by Connor McKeever who hit two home runs, the second a three run shot over the left field fence in the fourth inning bringing in the winning run. Ian Davidson came in to pitch for the Sting in the third inning and held Woodinville to just one run on two hits to record the win. Greer got the loss for Woodinville yet pitched a complete game. CONGRATULATIONS to the STING!
ST. ALBERT CARDS Take KR3 Can Am 14UII Classic
The St. Albert Cardinals completed a perfect 5-0 weekend to capture the inagural KR3 Can-Am Classic14U II Tournament. The Cardinals beat the Okotoks Dawgs in the final to secure the title. Starting pitcher Chance Wheatley completed 5 innings of 5 hit ball before giving way to Riley Moskaluk who pitched a perfect sixth and seventh inning. Offensively the Cardinals were led by Andrew Kotscherofski, Joe Pasychnyk, and Matthew Reiniger with 2 hits a piece. Joe and Jeffrey Harrison scored two runs a piece while seven different Cardinal batters contributed with RBI's. CONGRATULATIONS to the St. Albert Cardinals.
BELLEVUE Takes KR3 Can Am 14U classic
The 2009 KR3 Can Am Classic Tournament season started off with a blast. The KR3 Can Am 14U Classic saw 14 teams battle for the bragging rights of the Pacific Northwest, with BELLEVUE taking the championship over Strike Zone Reds. The final was truely a classic with the Red's and Bellevue battling back and forth until Bellevue broke it open with an 8 run inning and the championship. CONGRATULATIONS to Bellevue Baseball, the KR3 Can Am Classic 14U Champions.
KR3 Can Am 12/13U Champions
2009 saw the addition of a new tournament age group, 12/13 Pee Wee tournament played on a 70 ft base path diamond and attracted teams from all over British Columbia. CONGRATULATIONS to the VICTORIA WILDCATS who ended the tournament with a perfect record and the 2009 KR3 Can Am 12/13U Classic Championship!
KR3 Can Am 13U Classic Champions
The Washington GREEN SOX are the 2009 KR3 Can Am 13U Classic champions, defeating Laces Baseball in 5 innings. CONGRATULATIONS to the Green Sox!
KR3 Best of the West Tournament Champions
The Vauxhall Academy won a tight one versus the North Shore Twins. Jamin Heller started on the mound giving the Jets four solid inning before giving way to Victor Caruso who earned the victory in the final 3 innings.
The Twins held a 3-1 lead going into the bottom on the 6th when Mike Washburn drilled a 2 out double down the right field line to tie the game, 3-3. Winning pitcher, Victor Caruso stopped a Twins charge in the top of the 7th by ending the inning with a strikeout with the bases loaded.
In the bottom of the 7th, Daniel Worb led off with a double which led to a bases loaded situation when Mike Washburn was hit by a pitch to walk in the winning run. It was a good baseball game that could have went either way.
The Jets ended the tournament with an undefeated record of 5-0 with victories over St. Fx, 2 against Langley, 1 over the Kelowna Cubs and the North Shore Twins. Congratulations to the 2009 KR3 Best of the West Premier Champions.

KR3 BOW Premier Tournament Attracts MLB
The radar guns were blazing at the 2009 KR3 Best of the West Premier Tournament held April 3-5. Scouts from 14 major league teams were out checking talent on the twelve Western Canadian teams competing in the tournament. Despite some rather cool weather, many of players on the field took the opportunity to show their skills prior to the 2009 Player’s draft.
2009 KR3 Best of the West Midget Champions
The Okotoks Jr Dawgs shut out tournament host SOMBA Tigers 4-0 in the 2009 KR3 BOW Midget final. Both Okotoks and the Tigers finished the round robin play with a 2-1 record. The Dawgs defeated the Ridge Meadows Royals in their semi-final while the Tigers defeated the Victoria AAA Mariners 4-0. In the final, the Tigers threaten in the first inning with a runner on 2nd and none away. The runner was caught napping and was picked off in a huge momentum killer. The Dawgs plated 4 runs in the bottom of the first and shut the door from there on in. It was a well played game with the Dawgs taking the final 4-0. Congratulations to the Jr Dawgs.
